The expense of being away from home, joined with the discomforts of the hospital setting and treatments, are added to the fact that a loved one is ill.</FONT> <P><FONT SIZE="+1">Most people endure the uncomfortable reality of outpatient care simply to be there for their loved one regardless of the cost; be it emotional or financial hardship.</FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+1">Reggie's Place is the solution. It will provide a home away from home for the entire family. It will provide inexpensive lodging to any family with a seriously ill person being treated as an outpatient.</FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+1">Families will find support through counseling and from other families experiencing similar issues.</FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+1">Reggie's Place will have the comforts of a home minus the expense of a hotel. Families can stay two to three to a room. There will be a sizable living area, large kitchen, dining room, laundry, and a play area for the young and young at heart.</FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+1">Dependable transportation will be provided, via a 15 passenger van, to and from scheduled appointments, to local stores and trips.</FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+1">Families are asked to pay a small fee of $25 per day and assist in the upkeep of Reggie's Place. Fees alone will not cover the total expense to operate such a place. The shortage will be covered by donations from individuals, companies, and foundations.</FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+1">Reggie's Place will be a friendly place. It will encourage happiness, caring, and compassion among the families.
